Double and Triple Stair sets refer to stair sets that have gaps in between them, where it is still possible to Ollie or do tricks down both at once. Specific Double Stair Sets are often referred to by the number of stairs in each set with the word “gap” or “flat” in the middle. For example, if you are doing an Ollie down a Double Stair Set that has 4 stairs in one set and 3 stairs in the next set, you would describe it as a “4 gap 3” or “4 flat 3”. Triple Sets can be described similarly. Double and Triple Stair Sets are typically only skated by proficient street skaters.
