A double kickflip, or double flip, is just as the name describes: two kickflips in one. The board simply flips twice rather than once. To do a double kickflip, you should have kickflips mastered and should be able to ollie pretty high. The motion for a double kickflip is similar to a kickflip, but involves the “outward flicking” action to be much harder. If your timing isn’t quite right, you risk landing “primo” or on the rail of the board. Double kickflips were invented by legendary skater Rodney Mullen.
