The Melon Grab, Backside Grab, or Backside Air is a moderately difficult skateboard grab trick. It is done by grabbing the middle of the heel-side edge of your board with your front hand. The term Melon Grab is often used when you’re tweaking the grab out forward. When doing the trick Frontside, it’s often called a Lien Grab or Lien Air.
