The Tailslide is a moderately difficult slide trick. The Tailslide is performed by doing an ollie and turning 90 degrees away from the rail or ledge and then smacking the tail onto that surface. It’s generally considered a bit more difficult than a Noseslide, a similar trick done on the opposite end of the board. Proficient skaters often combine kickflips and heelflips into and out of Tailslides.
